Summer Camp Policies:
Our campers and their families are important to us and will be treated with respect and dignity. In return, we ask the following:
1)Please respect everyone’s time by arriving and departing on time. Repeated or noisy late arrivals affect the flow of classes and the learning of other campers. If you arrive late, please come in as quietly as possible. After-camp care is not provided and excessive or repeated tardiness to pick up children will be charged at teacher’s regular studio rates.
2)Please be aware of allergies when packing your snack. We will advise camp parents of any specific food allergies in the group prior to the first day, however, for general safety in a shared facility, we ask that you avoid bringing items containing nuts to the camp.
3)Please respect the facility: we are privileged to be able to hold this years’ camp in a space as open, inviting, and well-kept as Chinook School of Music. Help keep it this way for the morning campers who share our space, by cleaning up after yourself and bringing all personal belongings home. Shoes are not to be worn inside the teaching studio itself: there are mats and racks in the downstairs waiting area for all footwear.
4)Please respect teachers and students during the camp by using appropriate language and engaging positively in camp activities. We are here to have fun, after all!
5)Please respect the instruments in the room: many of these belong to the teachers, and several belong to the music school as well. The better we treat our instruments, the longer they last, and the more lives they bring joy to!
6)Rhythm N’ Groove / Monique’s Music reserves the right to use any photos, videos, or the like for publicity and marketing of the school.
If you have any questions about any of these policies, please contact either Lone at (403) 862 3218 info@rhythmngroove.com or Monique at mtfourni@hotmail.com to discussion prior to the first day of camp.
